Another great benefit of Brightgreen LED lights is their superior Colour Rendering Index (CRI) compared with other lighting methods.
CRI, is a measure of the quality of color light ranging from zero to one hundred and is related directly to colour temperature. Sunlight represent a perfect CRI of 100; a standard "cool white" fluorescent lamp will be closer to 60; and a Brightgreen light is 80-87 depending on the wattage.
In terms of applications this means Brightgreen LED’s render colours closer to their natural appearance. You don’t get the neon glow that comes from CFL’s that are closer to the blue spectrum. In contrast, you get a natural representation of colour so they are great for kitchens, foyers, entertaining and living areas requiring light that compliments their surroundings. |
